WTF? Americans can’t see the Giro anywhere this year? Eurosport or Rai could make a few bucks offering it to us poor saps across the pond as a reasonably priced subscription. Thanks UCI for making sure we have access to one of the big three!

The amount of practice they must do with the lead out! Cav nails it cos the lead out is so good. Team sport at its best. Every man has a role and sticks to it. Fab stuff!

He’s always wondering how the heck I manage to stay this weight/size since I do no sport(except cycling once and a while, not everyday),and in the winter I REALLY don’t do any exercise since I don’t like gym workout! On that test the whole LCD screen”got green”after me testing! This doctor friend of mine is 41 years old but he can’t seem to manage to lose weight as much as he wants! It’s a real wonder how the human cell functions and keeps us exactly how we’re designed to be!Too bad we still die!:-)

Because Mark Cavendish is rubbish without a lead-out right?

:-) even more strange is the closely”size”of Cavendish when compared to me…
He’s 175cm tall,I 176 cm,he’s 70 kg in weight,I’m also 70 kg but minus about 1,5 kg clothes! The only thing that differs is the year he’s born>1985!I’m a 1982 romanian guy!I did last weekend a herbalife test at a friend of mine who happenes to be a dental doctor but is doing this just because he likes it and his whole family is made up of doctors(mother, father),and in spare time tries to help other any way he can!

Nah. He is very adept at reading the road and the tactical aspects of sprinting. Very few within cycling suspect Cav. LOTS of other cyclists ahead of Cav in the ‘who is going to be the next LA’ stakes.

Don’t bother with Jonathan! That’s how he is everyday(maybe…).
I really have a “hunch”/a bad feeling that Mark Cavendish and its “sporting marvel” might be a second Lance Armstrong but on high tech “steroids” that the today medicine can’t “see” yet when making blood analysis!
Too bad if it will turn out so…
Lance Armstrong did a lot of harm to this sport with its doping…
I fear history might repeat, as it usually does…

:-))) haha, you’re funny! I thought of that too before posting this comment BUT, the coincidence was wayyy too big to pass by!
And even more so, yesterday I really had an urge to go for a ride on my CILO 1980’s road bike! But maybe some will apreciate my sharing of this ride!
    Cheers from ROMANIA!

Speak for yourself. Which is clearly and unkind knobby kind of self. If you don’t ‘care about’ his post then STFU rather than be a sad nasty tool about it.

It is always interesting to put the speeds and endurance of the Pros into a context because they are soooooo good it becomes easy to forget and underestimate what they can do.
Cav is the best. He is also the best there has ever been. That extra kick he does when everyone else is flat out is a sporting marvel.
